Tai chi programmes for schools, groups and the workplace
Tai chi for schools and special needs consists of safe movements with a focus on breathing and mindfulness. These movements are separated into moves for calm, focus and energy. Our programmes have been designed carefully to be fun, effective and safe for use in the classroom and fit into the normal school day. It can also be used at home, in the workplace and activity groups.
Physically, the repetition of the movements will increase core strength, flexibility, balance and coordination.
Breathing practice will enhance calm - reducing stress, improving behaviour and increase health and happiness.
Short movement breaks will increase energy and focus, improving attention, memory and learning ability.
We can come to your school or activity group or workplace to hold one off or regular sessions if you are in our area. We are working on several publications and they will start to appear later this year. We can work together to help you move through the day.
